For assignment 21a to 21c i used sketch up. these are the basics for sketch up. sketch up is a software where u get to create 3D objects and figures. sketch up helps with designing buildings for construction men. in this software i did my name in 3D. i did this with the push and pull button to create it in 3D. i used the triangle shape and the square shape.

The assignments are based on using Sketch Up 8 to make 12 different blocks. Each day, we have to look at the picture. Then open Sketch Up 8 and make a block with the measure of its shape. After making a block, you start to measure the size of it. After you measure it, you have to use pencil tool to draw it out. Then use push or pull tool to make the block look like the way you want it to be. Lastly you can use the print bucket tool to fill in the color you want for each sides of the block.

For this quiz i had to recreate #12 in which i used the tape measure tool to measure the measurements that were given. I used the arc tool in order to create the spherical shape shown, and the circle shape tool in order to create the small circles within the shape; they shouldve been hallow but im lazy so i left them as solids :l .
23.
For this assignment we had to create a beach house.I used the tape measure tool in order to measure
the width and length of the house and its necessities such as door and window. I used the rectangle shape and line tool in order to create the desired shapes. I was able to create the window effect and textures on the fences and ground by using the paint bucket tool. To add a little flair to the house i incorporated some ready made images that i found by going to file -> 3D Warehouse -> get models and searching for what i was looking for.
For this assignment i took the house that i made in assignment #23 and i made it 3D. I began by opening up Photoshop and opening a desired background for my house , i then opened another layer where i posted my house , i then duplicated the second layer and and made it just red and adjusted it to the side then took away the red from the original second layer and adjusted that as well.
For this assignment I created a power button by starting off with the eclipse tool. I used blending styles to create how it looks. But, it was a little more difficult because we had to create animation. I created animation by creating frames, duplicating them, reversing them and picking how much time in between them. Then I played it & it came out as if the power button was turning on & off. Then we save it as G.I.F, which stands for Graphical Interchange Format.
#26 For this assignment we have to make a showcase to show our own favorite things. This assignment have two part, the first part is to make the room for the showcase, which is the picture show above. To make this room, you have to measure every part of the rectangle for the room. After you make the rectangle, you have to follow the layer style from the website to make the room look like it was 3D. If you finish the room and send it to the teacher, you will get the first 100 for this assignment, which is also half of the grade for this assignment. The second part of this assignment is to make three spotlight on top to make it shine on the thing that you want to show to people. To do that, you have to use the Ellipse Tool to make a small circle on top of the ceiling, then follow the layer style from the website to make the circle to look different. After the layer style, you have to make another small circle on top of the one we did before, but this time we have to make it smaller than the one before and also make it with the color white. In this way,the small circle will look like a light that been turn on. To make three spotlight, you have to do the step again. After doing the ceiling light, now we are doing the light on the bottom and the light on the middle. To do those, you still have to use Ellipse Tool to make them. For this one,you still have to repeat it three times to be able to make three light. After you make it three times, you almost finish your showcase.Lastly, you have to put in your favorite things under the light.
Reflection
In this course we have used 5 main programs, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Sketch-up. Originally, we presented our work through turning a power point presentation in .jpeg files and uploading them. Through using these programs I've learned not to trust all pictures as original because I have learned the various ways in which a picture can be edited. I've been given the tools which I can use to edit my own photos instead of paying someone to do it. In addition, using these programs has provided another creative outlet because now I can be able to edit boring pictures and add exciting backdrops to them. Sketch-up is also something that I enjoying toying with from time to time as a way to design architectural pieces. I've learned how to create 3-dimensional images from scratch using both Illustrator and Sketch-up and how to make simple animations and 3-dimensional effects using Photoshop. In addition I will now be able to use publisher in a business environment to advertise the overall brand that I display.
