Second Marking period

I created this flyer by first opening Photoshop. I titled it "The Debate club" in crazy effect and created the time and date in plastic effect, I used the glass effect on the area of text that's informative as to who is able to join the club. 

I created this texture overlay by choosing a dress and choosing a pattern. Then i used the magnetic lasso tool and the clipping mask on adobe Photoshop to combine the two.

 

I created this by taking a unhealthy snack and replacing it with a healthy snack. Then i made it look like the poster from foodbank.org, a poster that encourages teens to eat healthier. 

                                               Distorting the brick wall to make it seem like a painting, by still showing 
                                        the texture of the wall. 

Combining a portrait of my cousin and her culture flag and  distorting it to make it seem like a face painting.

                                                Q: why smart filter? what is the difference between normal and smart filter?                                            

A: In this assignment i used blur motion by using smart filter to make the train seem like it is moving in a faster pace then it was. The Smart Filter works much in the same way that an adjustment layer worksóit places the filter in a separate layer that you can manipulate nondestructively.

                                                  Q:   what is quick Masking? why bother if I can just select with marquees or lasso tool?                        

A: Quick Mask is an intuitive way of selecting complex image areas using Photoshop's paint tools to define the selection area. I use it instead of lasso tool because it is quicker, hence the name "quick" mask.

 Q: we added a couple of things to the original picture to get this "glow" - what were the they? and what and at what layer did you                                                                                       take away to create the final effect?                                                                            

In this assignment i used an soft filter to make Lindsey Lohan glow because she is a goddess .  We added a smart filter, Gaussian blur , and on the base photo we added a layer mask. In the final act we removed the eyes and teeth areas in order to retain details , the filters intentional purpose was only for the skin. 

In this assignment i learned how to use the rectangle & eclipse tool to make an object. i also used gradient tool to make all of it blend together

                   In this assignment I used adobe illustrator and used the rectangle tool and line segment tool in order to write my name , i then saved it as .pdf and opened it up in Photoshop where i used the paint bucket tool in order to fill the name with patterns. 

 For this test, i used many different tools to create this phone. I used rectangle & eclipse tool to create the shapes of the shapes of the phone. Then i used different text to create the symbols, numbers & letters of the phone. & i used many different gradients to create this.
